A note on instrumentation - The Shaman is written for a large saxophone ensemble of Sopranino-SSAAAAATTTBB-Bass. If no sopranino saxophone is available, the part may be played on alto. The soprano 1, soprano 2, alto 1, and alto 2 parts are written as solo parts and all others are ensemble parts (i.e they may be doubled).
